14 x 17 Digital 2026 For this project, I created an illustration for Mariage Frères, one of France’s oldest tea houses. Inspired by their Mother’s Day campaign, I depicted a mother and her two children gifting her a colorful tea tin against a Parisian skyline, reflecting the company’s roots. I focused the most detail on the figures while keeping the background impressionistic. Tea ingredients featured in their blends frame the foreground in a simplified, graphic style, separating them from the scene.

14" x 20" Colored pencil, acrylic on watercolor paper 2025 I wanted to capture the nostalgia of being fully present in the world, away from the constant pull of screens and technology. I depicted my friend Maya running freely through a sunlit wheat field, with the movement of her clothing emphasizing the feeling of freedom and spontaneity. The impressionistic background contrasts with the finely rendered figure, creating a familiar, warm, and slightly dreamlike feeling.

17 x 20 Digital 2026 A conceptual mural depicting Lacoste as a goddess-like figure reaching toward a child and embracing her with her flowing hair. The intertwined forms symbolize the close-knit community of Lacoste, where neighbors work and live alongside one another. Inspired by Art Nouveau the piece uses a combination of decorative forms and expressive color to celebrate the village and encourage visitors to explore beyond the Château.

Acrylic on Illustration board 22 x 30 2025 The Unseen Surface explores the feeling of being consumed by anxiety and the moment of finally breaking free. I envisioned anxiety as a tidal force, with the figure reaching toward the surface and fighting against the weight of the water. I used diluted acrylic washes to let the texture of the illustration board show through, creating a watercolor-like effect, using thicker applications define the figure and areas where the body interacts with the water.

10 x 13 Gouache & Ink Resist 2026 Made in my illustration materials and techniques class based on the idea of defiance. This piece tells the story of a girl who’s outgrown her dollhouse. She clings to the comfort of play and imagination, even though she's grown too big for the space she once fit. The dolls watch on, confused by her refusal to leave.

17" x 20" Colored pencil on watercolor paper 2025 I wanted to capture the raw energy and atmosphere of a live concert through a limited warm palette of yellow, orange, and red. Working from a photograph taken at a local show, I used shifts in value and saturation to build dimension and guide the eye through the performer, stage lighting, and surrounding crowd. Restricting the palette allowed me to focus more closely on light, shadow, and contrast while still conveying the intensity and movement of the performance.

22 x 30 Ink, Fineliner Pen and Pastel 2023 The Collapse depicts a woman standing at the edge of a collapsing city, helmet in hand, as she looks toward a horizon beyond the ruins. The piece explores the moment of unshackling oneself from the expectations and structures that once felt confining, choosing instead to step into an uncertain but liberated future. I used a predominantly monochromatic palette to create a sense of bleakness and uniformity, interrupted by a vibrant red sun that represents possibility, change, and a new horizon.

14" x 20" Pencil and Graphite Powder 2026 Disorientation captures the sensory overload of a small punk show, where blaring speakers, shifting bodies, and constant movement can make everything around you feel blurred and indistinct. I used pencil and graphite powder to build deep shadows and create a deliberate balance between sharply rendered details and areas that dissolve into darkness.

8" x 11" Graphite on paper 2026 A Moment in Time captures a fleeting moment of connection between the subject and the viewer. This close-up portrait pushed my graphite and pencil skills, particularly in rendering realistic skin, subtle values, and delicate facial features without losing the visible qualities of a drawing. I focused on balancing realism with expressive mark-making, allowing the texture of the graphite to remain present rather than striving for a perfectly polished photographic effect.
